Held in Budapest and hosted by Saweetie, the 2021 MTV EMAs was a star-studded night filled with performances from music’s biggest stars.
Ed Sheeran, Griff, Italy’s Måneskin and Columbia’s Maluma were just a few of the artists who put on a stunning show.
But, alongside the stunning performances, the ceremony crowned just a handful of artists as winners of the evening. With categories including Best Artist, Best Pop Artist, Best Song and Best New Artist, the MTV EMAs shone a light on the most exciting new and established musicians in the industry.
As well as her hosting duties, Saweetie scooped up the award for Best New Artist, while Doja Cat’s ‘Kiss Me More’ took home the prize for Best Collaboration. Lil Nas X and BTS also came out on top of their categories with awards for Best Video and Best Pop Act, respectively.
