Very few singers on the African continent manage to pull off braggadocio as Wizkid does. Over the course of his career, and especially on his critically acclaimed album Made In Lagos, the Lagos-born singer has revealed that he is capable of the range of love and fantasy in his music. His most viscerally thrilling cuts come when he’s professing his love for women.

Yet again, his love for women is printed all over his latest single “Money & Love.” We’ve had two Wizkid releases this year dwelling on similar topics. If there’s anything we’ve learned so far, it is the fact the album will be focusing “more on the love and less on the ego,” hence the title More Love Less Ego.

Wizkid’s highly anticipated 5th studio album More Love Less Ego has been scheduled for the 6th of November, as unveiled earlier on digital streaming platforms. Off the album, Wizkid has unlocked the first track which is titled, Money & Love.

Recall that Money & Love was previously previewed at end of the Child-directed music video for Bad To Me – his first official single since MIL deluxe edition. The track sees Wizkid in his slickest and most imposing as he brags about his romantic capabilities with lyrics such as: “Nobody like me, body like me, baby when I pull the Gucci under my jeans, baby lollipop, baby lick like ice cream, Big Bad Wiz, Mr. Shift your pxnties, fxck with Buju Banton or Buju BNXN (Benson), girl any record girl I will make you sing.”

Love & Money is once again, produced by Wizkid’s frequent collaborator, P2J whose production credits cut across releases like Reckless, Ginger, Mighty Wine, Smile, Piece of Me, No Stress, Blessed, and Longtime amongst many others. It is Wizkid’s second official single for the year and the final pathway to his long-awaited 5th studio album, More Love Less Ego.
