Blaqbonez is a certified preacher. Since the start of 2022, he’s been dwelling on a particular message. He kicked off with Commander and has since then, churned out records like Go Home and the Jae5-assisted Back In Uni, all conveying the same message – the gospel according to Blaqbonez.

Today, Blaqbonez premieres his long-awaited studio album tagged “Young Preacher.” Consisting of a total of 14 tracks and guest appearances from Amaarae, Lojay, Blxckie, Cheque, Tay Iwar, Tekno, Bien, and Takura, it conveys the “anti-simp” gospel of Blaqbonez just like his previous releases.

The album kicks off with the first track, Young Preacher where he calls himself a preacher, rapping about the latest events of his life including relationships, family, friends, ego, and more. The next track Hot Boy with a different energy, the dancehall-infused tune sees Blaqbonez in a vibrant and braggadocious mode declaring he is a hot boy.

The third single Whistle features two superb vocalists; Amaarae and Lojay, a first-of-its-kind collaboration that sees all three artists explore their dexterity. Other noteworthy tracks on the album include Fake Nikes with Blxckie and Cheque, Ring Ring with Tay Iwar, Ess Mama with Tekno, Mazoe with Bien and Takura, etc.
