Leon Bridges, whose third studio album ‘Gold-Diggers Sound’ dropped in July, has announced he will tour in the UK and Europe during 2022.
The singer and songwriter from Texas announced via social media today (November 30th) that he will embark on a 12-date European tour during June and July next year in support of his Grammy-nominated album.
Taking to Instagram to write the caption “Comin for ya’ll 🇬🇧🇮🇪🏴” underneath an image of the forthcoming tour dates, Leon Bridges revealed that he will visit Sweden, Norway, The UK, Ireland, Paris and Germany next summer. The European tour will follow Bridges’ 15-date tour of the U.S. throughout April and May and a performance at Best Kept Secret Festival in The Netherlands.
Support for the upcoming shows will come from R&B singer KIRBY who released her debut EP ‘Sis’ in 2020 and helped to co-write the 2015 Rihanna, Kanye and Paul McCartney hit ‘FourFiveSeconds’.
The UK and Ireland leg of Leon Bridges’ ‘Gold-Digger Sounds’ tour begins in Manchester at the O2 Apollo on June 17th and will conclude in Edinburgh on June 27th. Tickets go on sale here at 9 am GMT on December 3rd.
