After he took a small break from singing, Mr Eazi returns to the music scene with a love rendition dubbed “Legalize,” dedicated to his fiancée, Temi Otedola. This is actually no surprise at all because Mr Eazi and Temi’s relationship has been one of the authentic relationships in the entertainment sphere. The lovebird started dating years ago and they got engaged back in April this year.
Nigerian singer, songwriter and businessman Mr Eazi shares his latest single “Legalize,” his first output for 2022, the first single from his forthcoming debut album, and one of his most personal tracks to date. Produced by an international team of Michael Brun ( from Haiti/USA), E Kelly (from Nigeria) and Nonso Amadi (from Nigeria/Canada), “Legalize” and its accompanying video celebrates Mr Eazi’s love for his fiancée, the Nigerian actress, Temi Otedola.
The mellifluous instrumentation of the track (produced by Michael Brum, E Kelly, and Nonso Amadi) was accompanied by Mr Eazi’s powerful syrupy voice, as he sings about finding love with these lyrics, “I don’t wanna do no koro, baby, make we legalize, my whole world dey stop anytime you look into my eyes, even if you don’t know, baby, I go make you realize, I make you realize, I no go let you go, baby, na you be my wife.”
The couple got engaged when Mr Eazi proposed while shooting the video in Venice, Italy. That city’s famously romantic canals, bridges and architectural gems form the backdrop of the luxe “Legalize” video, directed by Italy’s Federico Mazzarisi. Notable landmarks used in the making of the clip include the Ca’ Sagredo Hotel, the Punta Della Dogana and Palazzo Grimani museums. Listen here.
