The 75th Emmy Awards, organized by the Television Academy, acknowledged exceptional achievements in television programming and individual excellence throughout the 2022–2023 season. The live broadcast on January 15, 2024, from the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles on the FOX Television Network featured several black actresses and actors winning multiple awards. Here is the list of the black winners:

  • Niece Nash Betts

Emmy Awards

The actress won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story.

  • Quinta Brunson

Quinta Brunson won the award for Outstanding Lead  Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in “Abbott Elementary”.
  • Trevor Noah

For “DailyTalk Show,” Trevor Noah won an award for the category of Outstanding Talk Series.

  • Sam Richardson

The actor won for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in “Ted Lasso”.

  • Ru Paul

The Drag Queen won an award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program for “Drag Race”. 

  • Ayo Edibiri

For her role in “The Bear” Ayo Edebiri won for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

  • Storm Reid

Storm Reid won an award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series, for her role in “The Last of Us”.

  • Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer won Outstanding Host for a Game Show for NBC’s “Password”.
